Atlas given lead role in Ireland
Two significant pieces of business have been secured which firmly establish Atlas as one of the leading EDI suppliers in Ireland.
Firstly, IHBMA (Irish Hardware and Building Materials Association) in association with GS1, appointed Atlas as their preferred supplier of EDI.
A pilot project is now complete and is being followed by a roll out of EDI to large numbers of builders merchants’ suppliers across Ireland.

Atlas is the first Irish company accredited by GS1 Ireland to implement a standards based EDI solution and won the business against strong competition, eventually winning on the strength of its network functionality and a solution deliverable within the cost and the timescale constraints.
Secondly, further north in Lisburn, County Antrim, Atlas has been appointed by one of Ireland’s largest distribution companies. PRM Limited chose Atlas to roll out EDI, based on recommendations from one of its major customers.
